The Kelpie Group manufactures and sells brazed plate heat exchangers (BPHE).

The company, under another name, started in the 1980:s as a manufacturer of heat pumps and chillers, and as such was among the first companies in the world to produce heat pumps using Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers.

Our products, solutions and patents, all have in common the simple fact that they have their origin in the different applications. We have, for example, developed a district heating unit (DH), especially made to increase the efficiency and reduce the production costs for this type of applications.

In the early 1990:s, we started to produce our own heat exchangers.

Today, we are not only manufacturing our own Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers, but we also constantly develop new units and new solutions to old problems. We therefore also hold a series of patents to different products and techniques. Several inventions or developments have been made in co-operation with major clients.

Another example is the Evaporator/Condenser unit (EC). This unit was developed for water chillers and for water source heat pumps, and it gives you a series of advantages, including performance improvements.
