Insulation for Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers Our Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers can be delivered with a thermal insulation, either using pre-fabricated and pre-dimensioned pieces of armaflex, or with our polyurethane foam insulation.   The blue polyurethane insulation is 30 mm thick, and it’s diffusion tight.   This insulation, which is permanently applied to the heat exchanger, has a very low conductivity, and naturally it’s CFC-free.   This insulation is superior to any other solution on the market.
